Randal Brewer founded Randal’s Tower Tech in 1998 after discovering the demand for the installation and maintenance of commercial two-way radio and microwave equipment. His introduction to telecommunications came during his time in the Navy, where he was trained as a radio technician. Once discharged, he began working for a small mom-and-pop company based in Temple, TX. While there, he realized that there was a growing market in telecommunications that he could use to his advantage. Having two sons, he decided he wanted to start a company based on safety and dependability that he could grow and hand down to future generations. In 2003, under the leadership of his eldest son, Riley Brewer, RTT expanded into the cell industry by building communication towers, co-locations and doing gin pole work. By 2007, RTT was certified in R56 grounding, had experience in civil work, turnkey site builds and Anritsu sweep testing. Over the years, RTT has been involved in projects such as the Department of Homeland Security/Custom Border Patrol P25 network upgrade, The City of Houston P25 upgrade, and ATT/Verizon/T-Mobile 3G/4G/LTE upgrades. RTT is currently involved in TIA 222-G structural upgrades on communication towers and monopoles for most of the major tower companies across the US. RTT specializes in gin pole work; raw land communication site builds for government, wind energy and the cellular industry.
